This door lock installation kit features a self-centering jig that will eliminate the fear factor of drilling the holes incorrectly. It is specially designed with everything you need to install a door lock or dead bolt on your door easily and without error. The self-centering jig provides perfect hole alignment for face and edge holes. Plus it allows for easy enlargement of smaller existing holes. The set contains a special jig the clamps on your door and provides the perfect template to cut the holes for your door lock and striker without a lot of complicated measurements, with this jig is makes it possible for anyone to install a door lock without ruining your door and will give you professional results every time. A deep 2-1/8" bi-metal hole saw bores completely through 1-3/4" doors. The 1" bi-metal hole saw cuts a straight, clean hole where the face plate goes.
